Probation Angels

Spoof LRPT Community Info

Did you know that there are over 50 active volunteers working at LRPT as Cobden Street? These volunteers help probation service users with a variety of issues, from helping someone overcome their fear of using public transport to providing encouragement and support for recovering alcoholics to teaching service users to read and write or helping individuals set up their own self employed business.

Whatever your political/social viewpoint, be it wanting harsher and more punishing prisons, or a 100% focus on rehabilitation of offenders everybody agrees that the current system is hampered by lack of resources. Rather than sit on the outside with opinions based on the biased media coverage, (from whichever side of the fence you stand!), why not get involved and form an opinion based on facts?
