During the course of the above procedures you will be given the opportunity to make one phone call. This call will last for a maximum of 2 minutes before being cut off and there is no way for people to call you back. Be warned, this phone call is a very hard one to make and just as difficult for the person you are calling.
Think what you want to say before dialling the number.Remember that this call will be the first contact you have had with family and friends since the fateful moment when the judge passed sentence.
If the call goes to an answering machine it still counts as your call and you don’t get another.
