Werrington has been successful in agreeing an initial 2 year contract with xyz Ltd to supply foreign language learning equipment. The contract, which will start on 1st October, will provide specialist audio equipment in the prison for up to 25 inmates at one any time. The languages taught will be French, Spanish and Klingon. All prisoners at Werrington are expected to be at education full-time within the prison, and are offered the option of sitting nationally recognized qualifications.
