Education/Work: The Main Prison offers employment opportunities in a number of areas, including carpentry, catering and IT. Education is provided through Milton Keynes College, and is available for all prisoners irrespective of academic ability. There are the usual array of orderly position including painting, cleaning and serving of the meals. The prison workshops offer light assembly work and charity work through the Inside Out Trust.
Drug Services: There is a range Drug Services available, including a dedicated in patient detoxification facility that offers a wide range of prescribing options for prisoners that require it. West Hill is a drug free unit.
Resettlement Services: There are employment, housing, debt and finance advisors available as well as careers advice delivered through the National Careers service.
