Workshop contract for Wealstun

HMP Wealstun has won a contract to make woggles for the Tea & Crumpet Gift Company in the prison workshops. The contract, which will run for a minimum of 2 years will provide work for 10 prisoners.

All prisoners at Wealstun are expected to work, or be engaged in education, full time as part of their sentence planning and rehabilitation; failure to attend work can result of loss of privileges such as access to TV for the offenders.
