There is a range of employment, education and offending behaviour groups. There are two vocational learning centres. The prison runs course in computing skills, literacy and numeracy in conjunction with Milton Keynes College. There is also vocational training offered in bricklaying, kitchens, and horticulture
A key part of the regime is the working out scheme, which enables prisoners to work in the local community on ROTLs, first on a voluntary basis and if successful, later in a paid capacity to experience and prepare themselves for employment on release
