HMP Onley, Visits and getting there

Visits are held Mon – Thursday 13:45 – 14:45 and 15:15 – 16:15, Friday 14:30 – 16:00
Saturday 13:45 – 16:45 ,Sunday 13:45 – 16:45 .  Book by calling 01788 523402 between Mon – Friday 08:30 – 12:30 and 13:15 – 16:30

Transport to the Prison

Buses run to Onley from Rugby about every hour. For information on National Express services please tel: 08717 818178. For information on Stagecoach United Counties please tel: 01788 535555. For information on Northampton Transport Ltd please tel: 01604 755155. The nearest railway station is at Rugby, for details please call National Rail Enquiries on 08457 484950.

By car from the North on the M6 leave the motorway at junction 1. Join the A426 to Rugby. Follow the road through Rugby to Dunchurch. At the traffic lights turn left onto the A45 towards Daventry. HMP Onley is signposted on the left hand side.

From the North on the A45, follow the A45 past Coventry to Dunchurch. At the traffic lights in Dunchurch go straight ahead. HMP Onley is situated approximately 2 miles from Dunchurch and is signposted on the left hand side.

From the South on the M1, turn off at the M1/M45 junction (17). Follow the M45 to the roundabout. Go round the roundabout and back on to the M45 and take the first exit off the M45, follow the A45 signposted Daventry. HMP Onley is signposted approximately 1 mile away to the left hand side.

From the South via Daventry, follow the A45 past Daventry towards Dunchurch for approximately 8 miles. HMP Onley is signposted on the right hand side approximately 2 miles before reaching Dunchurch.

For all, at the HMP Onley signpost turn onto the approach road and follow it to the car park. Onley is the Middle establishment of three on this road. Please advise the Gate Officer of your vehicle registration number.
