Fund Raising for Charity at HMP Leeds

The prisoners and staff at HMP Leeds have raised a massive £abc for local charities over the last 6 months. They have cycled the Tour de France route distance, and run from London to Glasgow, all without leaving Leeds on bike and treadmills in the gym to raise the money from sponsorship and donations from prisoners, families and friends. The governor gave the cheque,  at a brief presentation at the prison attended by a number of the prisoners, to the charities chairperson, Mrs B Smith, last Saturday
