HMP Kirklevington Grange, Visits & getting there

Visits are held at the following time:

  • Wed: 13:45 – 15:45
  • Fri: 13:45 – 15:45
  • Sat: 13:45 – 15:45
  • Sun: 13:45 – 15:45

All visits are booked by the prisoners themselves, so there is no “booking line” at the prison. It is up to the prisoners to tell their visitors about any visit; the prisoner will have to know the address and date of birth of their visitors before booking a visit.

The Visits Room is an informal environment. There is a snack bar run by a local charity, Click Here for more details. Most prisoners are eligible for ROTLs, which could be either a “day pass” or 2-4 nights away from the prison. Although the security isn’t as stringent at visits as at other prisons, visitor will still need top provide photo ID and proof of address, and are not allowed to take items such as mobile phones, cigarettes, food & drink etc into the prison; visitors may still be searched before being admitted.
