New recycling initiative at Hull

All is spoof test data

While they are in custody prisoners accumulate clothing and small electrical goods which they have bought from their prison “wages” of between £10-£15 per week. When they are released many do not want to take these items with them, and up until recently the prison was required to destroy these items.

A new initiative has been trialed at Hull where a selection of these articles are being gifted to a number of local charity shops for onwards sale and fundraising; a win for the environment and for the charity!
