The prison runs three accredited programmes: Thinking Skills Programme (TSP) and the Prison Addressing Substance Related Offending (PASRO) drug rehabilitation programme, and CALM (Controlling Anger and Learning to Manage it)
The work available to the prisoners, in addition to the usual orderly roles, is in contract production workshops . Work is also available to prisoners on Farm/Estates Management, Laundry, Kitchen, Gym, Industrial Cleaning, and Bricklaying where recognized external qualifications can be achieve. The prison supports ROTLs for those prisoners categories as a Cat D
