The staff and prisoners at Foston Hall embarked on a marathon fund raising run in July, with a team of 5 staff and 22 prisoners completing between them over 1000 kilometers, the equivalent of around 50 marathons on the gyms treadmills. The funds raised by sponsorship and donations amounted to £350 and the governor presented a cheques to Save the Children Fund and 3 other local charities at a brief presentation ceremony held at Foston Hall on Tuesday.
