The PE department offers a wide range of qualifications, including Sports Leader and a variety of Health and Safety courses (including the CSCS building site safety certificate) and, in conjunction with Charlton Athletic FC, offers a range of football qualifications. The prison works with local PCT to deliver Health trainer Qualifications and Social Care NVQ
There are a number of drugs and behavioural interventions and programmes which run regularly including CARATS, P-Asro, ETS and SOTP. The prison use peer workers extensively in accommodation and employment IAG, as classroom assistants, delivering courses in the Gym and in supporting the Works department in the development and maintenance of the sites.
