Regimes at HMP Durham

Education at Durham is provided in conjunction with The Manchester College, and is focused on increasing the employability of prisoners. Course offered, as well as the basics of numeracy and literacy include skills for life, IT, customer service, art, horticulture and ESOL.

Vocational training is focuses upon construction, IT, warehousing, recycling, contact centre and food and hospitality skills.

Healthcare: the service is provided by the NHS
