The prison has a modern Training and Education Centre (TEC) with provision for up to 180 learners. Education, provided in conjunction with A4e provide the standard educational courses.
There is work available at the 40 place PICTA (Prisoners’ ACT Academy) workshop, the 30 place aluminium windows workshop and at the 10 place BIC training workshop. These workshops offering vocationally related qualifications for prisoners.
