  1. My son needs to see all his children, One is 18 is she chased as an adult, 11 and 10 are these classed as an adult. I need to know this ruling. His partner has been told that 11 and 10 are now classed as adults is this true.

    • The Visits room at Stafford has been built so that every visitor over the age of 10 has an allocated chair by the person they are visiting. This means that your two younger grandchildren are given a place to sit as if they were adults, a 10 yo cant sit on someones lap for a couple of hours!. Clearly the 18 yo is an adult in any case, so she would be treated as such.
