For each prison or probation trust we have set up a community page which will show any news specifically related to that prison or trust, and will give details events and items such as date for Family Visits, community projects undertaken by the prisoners or staff, notable achievements, new initiatives or programs, Xmas opening hours, travel disruptions etc. You can make a contribution to the page if you send news items to us and we will include them (subject to the usual rules about decency and respect etc).
We have listed below example of the sort of information which could be included, if you want to be given an alert every time there is a new entry on the site, just register on the community page for the prison or probation trust.
