Healthcare: A part- time Doctor and 5 nursing staff cover Usk and the nearby Prescoed Open Prison. The service is provided in conjunction with Aneurin Bevan Local Health Board. Dental clinics are weekly, with optician and chiropody sessions bi-monthly basis.
Offending Behaviour: The prison runs a range of sex offender treatment programmes such as the Core, Adapted, and Extended Sex Offender Treatment programmes as well as ETS. The SOTP takes between 5 and 7 months to complete and the ETS 8 weeks.
Gymnasium & Sports : There is a well equipped Gymnasium and an outdoor playing field
