Healthcare: shared facilities with HMP Usk, but with a daily nursing clinic and regular doctor’s surgeries .Provided in conjunction with Aneurin Bevan Local Health Board
Resettlement : The prison supports the use of ROTLs for those prisoners nearing the end of their sentence, and the focus of resettlement is on obtaining employment for prisoners upon their release.
Gymnasium & Sports: There is a well equipped weight and fitness room, a small sports hall . The PE department provides prisoners with evening and weekend PE sessions. There is a Football team which plays in a local FA league ( all matches are held at home!)
Chaplaincy: Full time Chaplain, with visiting ministers of other faith as necessary There are chapels and Multi Faith Room.
