New magazine contract

HMP Lincoln has successfully won the contract from a major publishing company to package 4 of their major magazine titles for national distribution. The contract, which will start on 1st May and run for 4 years will provide employment for up to 75 serving prisoners. The prisoners get paid an allowance of £10 for working a 30 hour week. Currently the prison requires all inmates not engaged in full time education to work either in the prison workshops, kitchens  or as prison orderlies carrying out cleaning and other similar tasks
