Visiting times are: Tue: 9-11am HB6 only, 2-4pm Wed: 9-11am HB6 only, 2-4pm, Thu: 9-11am HB6 only, 2-4pm Sat & Sun: 2-4pm

You can book online, visit: www.gov.uk/prison-visits. All you need is the name and date of birth of the person you are visiting, their prisoner number and the names and dates of birth of the visitors. You can choose up to 3 possible dates and times. Prison booking staff will check what’s available and confirm your visit by email. You’ll also receive your visiting order (VO) number by email. You must bring this with you when you visit. If you’ve made an online visit booking request and haven’t received a confirmation email within 1-3 working days, email [email protected] or phone on 020 7147 6570. You can also book visits on this number (0207 147 6570), it is open Monday to Friday: 09:00 – 12:00 and 13.15 – 16.30 and Saturday & Sunday: 08:15 – 12.00

There is a visitors centre at the prison (0207 147 6360) which has refreshments and you should book in there prior to your visit. As at all prison’s there are restrictions about what can be taken into the visits hall, (mobile phones, cigarettes, food & drink etc), and lockers are available at the visitors centre to store your property (£1 deposit needed)

The prison is 14 miles south of Central London, close to Sutton and 6 miles north of the M25 and is opposite HMP Downview in Sutton.

By bus, take the #80 from Morden station on the Northern line (click here for timetables) or train to either Sutton or Belmont stations which are a short taxi ride away.

If driving from M25 Junction 8, take the A217 to Sutton/London. After about 5 miles turn right onto the A2022, then turn left at the second roundabout into Sutton Lane (B2218). The prison is signposted about 1 mile down on the right. For Sat Nav’s, the postcode is SM2 5PJ. There is limited on-site parking facilities for visitors.
