Once again this year HMP Featherstone has provided 10,000 bedding plants to help plant the communal flower beds in the local area. The plants were grown in the prison’s nurseries, and added a welcome splash of colour to the town centre. The nurseries at Featherstone employ 3 full time gardeners, the remainder of the workforce being serving prisoners.
