Family Visits

Examples of Community News Updates

The prison holds family visits, where prisoners who have standard or enhanced IEP status can invite their young children/grand children and family to spend time with them in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Activities as face painting, treasure hunts etc are put on to entertain the young guests , and visitors are encouraged to bring picnic lunches although the canteen will also provide a selection of party food.

These events are very popular and usually oversubscribed as there are Health & Safety limits on the number of visitors allowed. The next event is on Saturday 31st April, starting at 10:30 and ending at 16:00, make your application now to the Family Unit/chaplaincy to avoid disappointment.
